Haakaa

The Haakaa Breastfeeding Nipple Shield is a world-first design made of 100% soft silicone, with an extended teat that puts space between your nipple and your baby’s mouth.

If your little one bites down, pulls away, or if you have inverted or cracked nipples, you will still be able to breastfeed with ease and comfort. Our Nipple Shields suction onto your breast, giving you a hands-free breastfeeding experience.

Available in a round or butterfly shape, the Haakaa Breastfeeding Nipple Shield allows all mums to experience the beauty of breastfeeding without the worry of discomfort and pain!

Includes one shield (butterfly or round) and a protective case for storage.

Features

  • Patented one-piece design with no joints, cracks or edges.
  • Nipple design allows babies to mimic a natural sucking rhythm, making it easier for babies that have difficulty latching.
  • Suctions on to all breast shapes, making it easier for new mums to use and enjoy a hands-free breastfeeding experience.
  • The anti-slip ridged outer edge make the nipple shield easier to hold while the baby is feeding.
  • Anti-colic and variable flow nipple allows baby to drink continuously without gasping for air or drinking bubbles and prevents them from choking if milk flows too fast.
  • Space between mum’s nipple and the nipple shield head prevents baby from biting the nipple.
  • BPA, PVC and phthalate-free.

Godsend

Amazing. I have large flat nipples and my bub is unable to latch effectively. I tried other shields but need the largest size which was still hard for bub (they also slip off). This shield has saved my breastfeeding journey and allowed him to feed. Bub latches great and no pain. I'm exclusively breastfeeding and loving it!

Breastfeeding Saviour

I cut back breastfeeding a week after my son was born so my supply dropped rapidly. I decided that I would like to give it a go again and have increased my supply, but his latch was terrible and would cry and fuss at the boob but would take a bottle with ease. This shield has enabled us to feed contently at all feeds. I’d recommend it to all mums struggling to feed. Easy to order and very fast delivery.

Every mumma needs one

I really struggled to breastfeed my premie with other nipple shields. This one though just wow, he actually stays stretched and i dont have to top him up with a bottle.

Worth every cent

After having so many troubles for four weeks after bub was born I’d lost hope that I would be able to breast feed. Then I found this and it helped amazingly. I tried other breast shields before that I’d have to tape to my breast as it wouldn’t hold. Whereas with this the suction works great!

Didn’t work

I bought this to deal with painful feeding but it didn’t work. Bub kept sucking but no milk came out. Even expressed into it. Not sure but wasn’t for me. I was really hoping it would help.

Hi Kathleen Thank you for your review. Like everything new sometimes it takes a little time for bub to get used to it. Keep offering it to you baby as we have had some great results with women have also experienced pain when feeding. We are always here to answer any questions - just email us at info@milkbarbreastpumps.com.au. Sarah :)
