How To Use
Sterilise before first use and ensure hands and breasts are clean.
Add a few drops of water or breast milk to the brim to help it stick.
Holding the shield at the base of the nipple area, press nipple until shield is halfway inverted.
Rotate the shield so the cut-out area is placed where the baby's nose will be when feeding.
Centre the shield over your nipple, enclosing as much of your nipple as possible. Then, press the shield down onto your skin to flip it right side out.
Ensure the base sits flush, then breastfeed as normal.
Care
After each use, wash the shield thoroughly in warm, soapy water and rinse well to remove any milk residue. Allow it to air dry completely before storing it in a clean, dry container. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaning tools, as these can damage the soft silicone. Regularly check the shield for any signs of wear, damage or stickiness, and replace it if needed to ensure safe, effective use.
