I bought this to create a small store of milk from the alternating boobs that bub wasn’t drinking from at night. It’s been easy to use, quick and easy to sterilise. It’s the first bottle he’s had (ebf) and he latched easy- just guzzled it a bit too fast which I guess is expected! Bargain for the price.
I love love LOVE my original Haakaa breast pump and was really excited about this one because of the detachable bottle top to pump and feed immediately. This one doesn't pump as well as the original due to the bottom half being stiffer/harder to squeeze and also the suction isn't as strong due to being split in half but it is still convenient to pump straight into a bottle and feed, even if it takes a little longer. My tip, which I discovered the second time I used it, is to make sure the top is screwed on very tightly otherwise the suction will be affected. I love the versatility, it can be used for storage as well as for feeding solids with the feeding spoon head or as a drink bottle. It's fantastic for on the go!
Bought this Instead of the Gen 2 die to its practically and as well as hoping that it’ll save my time in pumping milk.
However, it did not quite work for me. Have only been able to express 10-20ml (usually the lower volume) milk while breastfeeding and I have to drain my breast using electric pump after. Also, I find the pump is a bit heavy and can cause pain sometimes.
Have not tried the Gen 2 but I wish I would have bought that first to try out before going for Gen 3.
I love the diversity of this pump. I still prefer my older version of the silicon pump tho. I just can’t get enough suction from the gen 3 to draw more then a few drops from my breast.
I am so glad I purchased this. Collecting +60ml off one side whilst feeding my little man on the other. The teet for the bottle is also great, my husband gives our man his dream feed with it, he gets little to no wind or discomfort as the flow is nice and steady for him. Couldn't be happier. Comfortable and easy to use. All mummas should have one
