I brought these because I was sick of using breast pads, I didn’t want to store the milk I just wanted to catch anything that would usually go into the pads. Comfortable I just emptied them every few hours and slid them in during the night feeds before I fed to catch anything!
I just received my milk collector, online there are so many demo videos on breast pump but I could not find a single video on for milk saver how to put it on. There is one video which is the promo video from the brand but it's bit very clear how exactly she had put it on so easily. I followed the instructions on the guide book but it isn't working for me. Every time I try to put it it pops out or if it is attached to my breast then it's squashing my nipple which obviously would not let any milk to come out. I so want to use this product but don't know how to do. It would be great If I could get a video from someone who has successfully used it to show the right way to attach it on the breast.
It’s only good for catching light amount of milk (20ml) but when I use the old school Hakka I get 50-70ml coz the suction is better on that then this, this one just falls off or loses suction
I initially loved this in that it doesn’t protrude (and be easily be knocked off your breast by little baby hands) like the origin Hakaa, however the suction left me a bit disappointed because it is difficult to not have it suction to your nipple. I am a 12C size, and have no issues with the original Hakaa suctioning. If it is auctioned off the nipple then it easily falls off.
If I could return this product I would, as the negatives outweigh the positives. Original Hakaa trumps the lady bug I say.
I recently bought the Haakaa pump and was so impressed I thought I’d then also get this ladybug to give a go and it’s amazing!!! Can’t believe I didn’t know about these products! It catches all the milk is previously been wasting into breast pads, and it’s meant I haven’t had to express anymore for back up stored milk supply!
